Cook - Skillet'z Cafe

Skillet’z Cafe is looking for an experienced and dependable Cook to join our kitchen team. As a Cook, you’ll be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of delicious breakfast and brunch dishes, following our recipes, and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation. You will work closely with our kitchen staff to ensure every dish meets our guests’ expectations. If you’re passionate about cooking, work well in a fast-paced environment, and have a strong attention to detail, we’d love to have you join our team! Requirements/Responsibilities Responsibilities: • Prepare and cook menu items according to Skillet’z Cafe recipes and quality standards • Ensure food is cooked and presented consistently with attention to portion sizes and aesthetics • Manage multiple orders efficiently during peak hours, maintaining speed and accuracy • Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly, including grills, fryers, and ovens • Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment • Assist with prepping ingredients and restocking stations as needed • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and timely service • Monitor food inventory levels and communicate shortages to kitchen management • Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen workspace • Adhere to all Skillet’z Cafe policies and standards for quality and guest satisfaction Requirements: • Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar kitchen role preferred • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen best practices • Strong attention to detail, quality, and consistency • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays • Physical ability to stand, move, and lift for extended periods • Positive attitude, reliability, and a strong team-oriented mindset If you have a passion for cooking and delivering excellent meals, apply to be a part of the Skillet’z Cafe team today!
