DUTIES/RESPONSIBLITIES:

Demonstrates the ability to identify appropriate foods for all diet modifications and food medication interactions.

Demonstrates the ability to edit selective menus according to diet modifications.

Reviews menus (patient, cafeteria and special function) to determine type and quantity of foods to be prepared for next day.

Accurately operates cash register during meal times as assigned; accurately makes correct change.

Demonstrates the ability to properly clean and sanitize all equipment, cookware, counters, dishware, etc. according to department policies.

Assists with room set up, transportation of food items, etc. for any special events and/or functions.

Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
1. High school diploma required.
2. Previous food and preparation experience preferred
