You will lead a team of convenience retail sales professionals, supporting the front line sales expansion roll out and in market execution. They will be responsible for managing and developing the team to deliver against the business KPIs. In addition, they will be responsible for tracking and refinement of the execution plan. They will also help optimize the execution to ensure scalable and sustainable expansion.
How you will contribute
Business Delivery
+ Create and manage an annual business unit plan to deliver agreed channel revenue KPI’s and targets and provide reporting as required.
+ Deliver against quarterly sales objectives and in-store execution standards
+ Fully understand category and insights knowledge and category tools to engage and influence customers and deliver our annual plan.
+ Priority call coverage, model call times, route efficiency (enabled by technology)
Team Leadership
+ Responsible for leading the convenience retail sales team.Direct reporting line for Convenience District Manager(s)
+ Manage, develop and motivate the team and work closely with the sales capability team to ensure delivery of training to the team.
+ Work closely with key stakeholders including the account team, category, activation team, sales capability and customer finance to maximize ROI
+ Develop sales professionals to drive superior execution and performance, and where applicable, for placement into advanced sales positions
Execution
+ Perfect Store Execution - Lead team to deliver Perfect Store execution standards across all outlets
+ Call Plan Procedure and Efficiency planning - Time in store, frequency of visit, and territory execution
+ Measurement and Tracking of Results (P&L, MSA) - Evaluate both business and operational KPIs
+ Salesforce Systems optimization - Voice of Retail to communicate business requirements and optimization needs
+ Routing - Evaluate and optimize store segmentation and system productivity
+ Centralized Resourcing Needs - Evaluation of centralized resourcing needs (HR, Training, Systems, Routing, Etc.).

Education / Certifications: Bachelor's degree required
Job specific requirements:
+ Minimum 8 years of experience in sales and people management, including in a customer-facing role in CPG industry with proven selling/negotiating experience in the convenience channel.
+ Proven analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and drive actionable insights
+ Project Management Experience
+ Strategic agility and whitespace navigation
+ Strong communication and analytical skills
+ Deep understanding of retail operations, DSD background, preferred
Travel requirements: 30% travel required
The base salary range for this position is $134,200 to $184,450; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
