This can be a Hybrid or potentially a Remote role!
JOB SUMMARY:
Primary on-site client interface and project technical representative
Provide on-site mechanical, electrical and control support for industrial chiller and boiler system projects
Role includes project site evaluation, installation support, and client training
Growth path to Senior System Design Engineer
**Must have experience with HVAC and BAS systems for CHW or HHW applications.**
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Inspect project site and assist with implementation plan and schedule
Troubleshoot equipment: chillers, boilers, valves, pumps, towers and VFDs
Interact with contractors to interpret design and specifications
Preliminary system startup/commissioning to verify compliance with plans and specifications
Coordinate field software modifications with system design engineer
Provide training to site operation and maintenance personnel
Modify system documentation to reflect as-built status
Prepare project status reports
Up to 30% weekday travel within the US and opportunity for international travel
Hardware and software platforms include Rockwell / Allen-Bradley PLCs (RSLogix5000 or Studio5000), Niagara JACEs and WorkPlace (N4 or AX).
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of an Associate's Degree; technical focus preferred
One (1) to Three (3) years of experience in industrial Control or HVAC maintenance and repair
Must be goal-oriented with the ability to successfully self-manage; self-starter
