We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team within the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supervising all aspects of electrical control systems, equipment, and machinery. This role involves a blend of technical expertise, passion for working in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to drive innovation in the manufacturing process. If you have a knack for problem-solving and a detail-oriented mindset, this role could be the perfect fit for you.
Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop control systems and integrate them into our manufacturing process to improve productivity and efficiency.
2. Program, troubleshoot, and optimize PLC systems for automated processes.
3. Develop and implement innovative solutions for industrial automation, robotics, and control systems design.
4. Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement HMI systems, fluid power controls, vision systems, VFD, and Servo Drive.
5. Conduct system tests, ensuring that all control systems are running efficiently and safely.
6. Provide technical support and training to the production team to ensure smooth operation of machinery.
7. Maintain accurate documentation of all control systems and modifications.
8. Stay current with the latest technologies and trends in control engineering and implement them in our processes.
Qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in control engineering in a manufacturing environment.
3. Proficiency in PLC programming, electrical engineering, control systems design, robotics, and industrial automation.
4. Experience with HMI, fluid power controls, vision systems, VFD, and Servo Drive.
5. Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
6. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
7. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
8. Understanding of safety protocols and regulations in the manufacturing industry.
9. Demonstrated ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to complex technical problems.
10. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
