Overview of the Controller Role:

• The controller coordinates the financial planning and budgeting for the firm
• Delegates tasks to accounting team to ensure compliance of deadlines
• Oversee daily operations of the accounting department
• The controller may work with outside auditors for year end financial reports

Preferred Qualifications for the Controller Role:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
• Prior work experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar position
