Summary: Hera Technologies, LLC is an Aerospace Manufacturing company dedicated to supporting the launch vehicle, defense, space and commercial aircraft industries with advanced-material, built-to-print components. We are seeking a strong problem-solving/action-orientated Controller with a hands-on mindset to lead its finance and accounting functions. The Controller will oversee the financial operations of the company, ensuring accurate financial reporting. The Controller will be expected to interface cross-functionally throughout the organization to support decision making and to ensure finance processes properly sync with operations. The candidate should be capable of implementing new systems and processes to support efficiencies and the continued growth of the organization.
FLSA Classification: Salary Exempt
Type: Full-time
Work Hours: 8:00AM to 4:30PM Monday through Friday (starting time flexible) Some overtime and weekend work may be necessary. Hours may be adjusted at the discretion of your manager.

Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000
Location: 100% onsite at 1055 E Francis St. Ontario, CA 91761
Essential Job Duties (which include, but not limited to):
- Robust financial and accounting background, including strong academic and professional qualifications (CPA not required but very strongly preferred).
- Proven experience in finance management and accounting roles, particularly in a similar industry.
- Experience with operational reporting and tracking, IT (specific experience with cloud-based ERP software a plus) and accounting platform integrations.
- Experience with implementation of new systems and processes.
- Strong analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills.
- Broad experience with various types of internal and external reporting, including management plan preparation and budgeting and percentage of completion accounting.
- Ability to go beyond standard accounting reporting with the development and tracking of key performance indicators to better understand Company performance.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Manage internal finance and operational control functions, including cash management and tax reporting including a focus on customer invoicing processes, collections, and aging.
- Support IT function and capital projects.
- Implement accounting policies, procedures, cost accounting supervision, and internal controls.
- Assist with the development of annual and monthly financial budgets and forecasts. Measure and report actual to budget/forecast variances.
- Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Identify and manage business risks and insurance requirements.
- Oversee financial and operational systems including integration and upgrades.
- Generate monthly reporting packages.
- Serve as primary point of contact for internal and external parties around financial metrics and reporting.
- Interface with external auditors to support annual audit process.
- Interface with external tax consultants to assist with tax preparation.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years' experience in a management role or equivalent combination of experience and education.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A or B.S. degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
Work authorization and Clearances:
- Must be authorized to work in the US.
- Must be willing to undergo a criminal background and soft-inquiry credit check.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical examination, including a drug and alcohol test.
Work environment:
- Some of the work hours are in an air-conditioned open office with an assigned cubicle and comfortable seating; will require limited walk-throughs in the production area which is not air-conditioned, is noisy, and requires safety protocols.
- The incumbent will spend a portion of the day on their feet and must follow strict safety rules. They wear safety glasses to protect their eyes from airborne debris. Loud noise from machinery requires use of hearing protectors. They wear hard toe shoes or boots to protect their feet from potentially dropped objects.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to safely lift at least 25 lbs.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Stand and/or sit for long periods of time.

- Vision abilities required by this job include- near vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
