Responsibilities:
- Oversee month-end-close accounting processes.
- Ensure monthly account reconciliation are performed accurate and timely.
- Assist CFO with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Assist with various reporting agency request (AHA, CMS, etc.)
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and financial reporting standards.
- Analyze financial data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and implement financial strategies to achieve company objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risk.
- Participate in the development of policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Lead and manage one Sr. Accountant.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred)
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in healthcare finance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role preferred.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management software.
