We are a small family office with an emphasis on real estate investment management. We are looking to expand our team with an Assistant Controller/Controller with prior experience in the space. This is an opportunity to get in at the ground level and really influence the overall direction of the office. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in real estate, working with high-net worth individuals, and has aspirations to plant roots and grow long-term with us!

Job Details
- 7+ years accounting experience at a family office or real estate investment management firm
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting or related degree
- Experience working with high-net-worth individuals highly preferable
- Strong understanding of partnership and individual tax & accounting
- CPA highly preferable
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to create reports and models as needed
- Solid understanding of real estate property management and accounting including tax implications required
- Highly professional with excellent presentation skills
- Exceptional organization and time-management skills. Strong attention to detail is a must.
- Ability to interpret responsibilities and take an initiative.
- Must be a creative problem-solver with the ability to manage multiple projects, utilizing strong leadership skills and analytical skills.
- Excellent grammar, proofreading & communication skills and a client
