Compensation: $80,000 - $120,000 per year

Join a reputable, family-owned industry leader in road construction solutions. This well-established firm seeks a skilled Control Engineer to enhance its process control systems. Reporting to the Technical Director, the successful candidate will play a critical role in advancing automation, developing and troubleshooting control systems, and collaborating on installations.

Key Responsibilities

• Define project requirements and control solutions in partnership with teams and clients.
• Provide support during installation, commissioning, and operation phases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in process control and automation.
• Develop and enhance PLC/PC-based control systems and implement digital solutions.
• Stay informed on advancements in industrial automation to improve equipment functionality.
• Act as a technical resource for customers and internal teams on process control matters.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering required; Master’s degree or dual degree in Computer Science preferred.
• Experience: 2–10 years of relevant industry experience, with a focus on programming and automation.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in C++, Rockwell Automation, Ethernet/IP, and PROFINET.
  • Familiarity with standards such as UL, NEC, NFPA, CSA, and IEC is a plus.
  • Knowledge of EPLAN, SAP, SQL, Rockwell Automation Studio 5000, and Microsoft Teams.
• Additional Requirements:
  • A minimum GPA of 3.2.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
