JOB DESCRIPTION:
Title: Contracts Coordinator
Location: Cambridge, MA
Duration: 3+ Months
Hourly Rate on W2: $24
As a Contracts Coordinator working on the Global Medial Strategy and Operations team, you will be responsible for project related contracts and purchase orders creation in Client’s procurement systems, coordination and resolution of such activities for GMA Therapeutic Area (TA) Teams.
A typical day will include:
POSITION OBJECTIVES:
• Coordination and resolution of project related contracts and purchase orders creation for GMA Therapeutic Area (TA) Teams Contracts and vendors creation following Client SOP
• Creation of purchase orders (POs) in purchasing system(s)
• Interact with program manager, medical leads, functional business leads
• As required, work with procurement, legal, compliance and vendors to resolve contract issues
• Follow POs from initiation to completion to support vendor issues
• Support PMs with issues associated with project contracts, POs, vendors and payments
POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Provide project contracting support to TA team of 10-15 people
• Provide cross-functional project contracting and PO coordination within a matrix organization
• Coordinate and track tasks/activities as related to the contract and PO status
• Resolution of processing issues within purchasing system(s)
• Assisting with compiling and producing high quality project documentation
• Review of contracts, ensures Client defined processes are followed
• Numeric verification of contracts to POs amounts
• In-depth knowledge of Client’s purchasing system(s)
• Understand and ability to apply financial account codes
• Other responsibilities and special projects as assigned
EDUCATION, BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
• Associate's Degree with 2+ years of experience as a team assistant / coordinator (or equivalent)
• Prior exposure to project coordination / tracking activities and collaborations
• Strong organizational skills
• Good problem-solving skills
• Sense of ownership and results oriented
• Flexibility combined with tenacity to complete assigned tasks in high quality and timely manner
• Good communication skills, proficiency in English (written/spoken), any other language is an advantage
• Team focused personality with strong collaboration abilities both internally and externally
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Ability to learn and apply processing systems
