Job Summary and Qualifications
This position will serve on the CT&I business operations team as a subject matter expert in the area of contracting and a contract negotiator for such IT healthcare services and related CT&I partnerships. This position will support the Contract Director and lead the contract analyst, assist with the developing contracting strategy, and execute initiatives for Expanse contracts and other CT&I department agreements.
Major Responsibilities:
- The Manager is responsible for delivering successfully negotiated contracts to CT&I members. Success will be defined as the timely meeting of all material project deliverables captured in the executed contract.
- Provide project oversight with contract analysts supporting all team contracting projects.
- Manage assigned contracting projects, including the completion and timely execution of contracted services.
- Evaluate proposals, oversee development of financial analyses and present contract recommendations for members.
- Craft contract language working with Corporate Legal.
- Conduct weekly contract update calls with ITG Contracting team, IT Legal and IT Procurement. Report weekly contract updates to AVP and other CT&I stakeholders.
- Train staff in all new policies, processes, etc. as required.
- Coach, lead, and advise for the success of the Contract Analysts.
Minor Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Ecosystem who will research and analyze vendors to be included in Request for Information/Proposals (RFI/RFPs).
- Collaborate with ITG Contracting team and IT Legal in execution of CT&I contracts
- Understand various technology in health care industries from which CT&I partners.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare contracting and/or healthcare accounting/finance
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
