We are seeking an experienced Contracted Grant Writer to join our team and contribute to our mission through effective grant writing and management.
Job Summary:
As a Contracted Grant Writer, you will work closely with our development team to administer, maintain, complete, and enhance our grant programs. Your role will involve researching funding opportunities, writing compelling grant proposals, and managing grant schedules to secure funding for our critical programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research & Identification: Identify and evaluate new local, federal, and state grants and funding opportunities for our programs.
- Proposal Development: Create high-quality grant proposals, narratives, applications, and supporting documents in alignment with grant guidelines.
- Grant Management: Maintain responsibility for tracking grant schedules, deadlines, and ensuring timely submissions.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the grant team to meet application deadlines and ensure accuracy in submissions.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in writing successful grant applications.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of local, federal, and state grant sources and funding opportunities.
- Skills: Proficiency in writing grants for innovative projects, with excellent research, communication, and organizational skills.
- Collaboration: Ability to effectively work with the grant team and organizational leadership.
