Continuous Improvement Manager
Job Summary: The Continuous Improvement Manager oversees the CI vision. This role involves assisting in strategic planning and implementing strategies to support overall performance improvement objectives. The CI Manager will coach and mentor employees on lean methodology, tools, root-cause analysis, and waste reduction to achieve sustainable and continued improvements in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and growth. Additionally, the CI Manager will coordinate the training and development of all team members.

Salary: $115K
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Typically day shift, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility needed
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Continuous Improvement process (e.g., mindsets, practices, and culture).
Develop, implement, and sustain a CI program based on Lean principles.
Identify and define the scope of CI projects and activities.
Leverage data and observational analysis to identify improvement opportunities.
Teach and model root cause analysis and structured problem-solving.
Participate in Lean events and promote skill-transfer.
Serve as a subject matter expert for the Management Operating Structure.
Organize and execute business improvement activities.
Coach and guide cross-functional teams to resolve assigned projects.
Monitor data and metrics trends to identify areas of waste.
Provide documentation and project updates to Operations leadership.
Collaborate with all departments affected by CI projects.
Skills and Experience:
Deep understanding of Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement methodologies.
Experience leading high-value, complex cost-savings projects.
Strong analytical capabilities and business acumen.
Ability to lead through influence, mentorship, and coaching.
Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Ability to build strong relationships and foster change.
Passion for safety and ability to maintain a respectful work environment.
Mobility for broader assignments within the business unit and company.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Three or more years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred experience in a food manufacturing environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Knowledge of SAP preferred.
