About the Job
The Continental Distribution Center (ConDC) Supervisor is responsible to ensure storage and delivery of spare parts in proper quality to all North America customers for all spare parts produced in North America towards BMW Parts Logistics and all relevant National Sales Company functions. Additionally, you will be responsible to establish and enforce Operational performance, product and central process standards, and strategic optimizations and to ensure safety and legal compliance towards all governing agencies.
As the Continental Distribution Center Supervisor, you will be required to set strategic directions of the assigned department, manage process improvement, and exceed targets. You should have strong supervisor/management/coaching and time management skills. You will be required to be an expert within your department. Supervisor will be expected to empower their leads to manage day-to-day activities, while your focus will be on improvement, customer service and second level coaching and counseling of hourly staff.
As the Supervisor, you are responsible for coordinating and supporting warehouse activities for picking, packing, shipping, receiving, reverse and inventory control. You will have direct supervision of leads and Warehouse Associates, while achieving the highest standards of Quality, Productivity and Customer Service levels to BMW USMCA RDCs. You will set strategic directions of the assigned department, manage process improvement, and exceed targets, while being responsible for all key performance indicators throughout warehouse operational areas, ensuring maximum performance is secured. You will provide consistent and accurate data reporting and review/analyze, in line with BMW reporting requirements and will execute corrective, preventative, and disciplinary actions as necessary. You will organize and prioritize order/workload processing, to ensure completion within set deadline standards and will review and enforce process standards and work instructions with all Warehouse Associates.

The pay range for this role is $74,831 - $87,642.
The selected candidate's education, skills, experience, and location will be used to determine the final salary offer. This statement is in accordance with state and local pay disclosure requirements.

- Bachelor's degree or business experience equivalence.
- 1-3 years logistics/distribution experience
- 2 years direct management/supervision experience
Preferred:
- OEM distribution experience
- Knowledge of general warehouse industry, best practices and techniques
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems
