Summary:

GenAI Content is a horizontal function supporting initiatives across the broader GenAI Org and is seeking an experienced content manager to join the team. GenAI Content supports products through quality control, prompt engineering, fine tuning and creative execution. The team is comprised of content experts with diverse backgrounds in journalism, social media, creative storytelling, writing, editing, linguistics, visual arts, film & TV production, STEM and more. Content Managers partner closely with technical teams to prompt engineer, build and ship products from lab to production, across different languages, modalities and mediums. They serve as a point of contact for internal stakeholders working across AI on priority product initiatives, and aim to build products and creative tools that entertain, inform and delight.The ideal candidate will have a background in STEM disciplines, with an emphasis on math and coding. They will have strong writing skills and a keen eye for crafting thorough, nuanced and objective guidelines that establish and measure content quality for these STEM disciplines. They will be capable of defining a fully fleshed out annotation strategy from nebulous data specifications, in partnership with research scientists. They will know how to direct the work of highly specialized experts in this space and demonstrate creative thinking in building out these data strategies. They will understand how best to leverage human annotations versus synthetic data generation to achieve this. Finally, they will understand how to apply their expertise at scale, while exhibiting strategic product thinking to put user needs at the forefront of our work. Required Skills:

Content Manager, GenAI Responsibilities:

1. Deliver completion of high-quality editorial work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment

2. Develop guidelines and build measurement frameworks that set quality standards for products and features

3. Generate content-focused insights that both fuel ideation and product strategy

4. Lead through influence and collaboration within GenAI Content team and relevant stakeholders

5. Identify processes and opportunities to influence through scale

Minimum Qualifications:

6. 6+ years of experience with technical writing, journalism, and relevant skills

7. 6+ months experience working in Generative AI, prompt engineering, and annotation

8. Experience with content labeling and analysis around creative and serious topics

9. Experience with coding, in particular Python, Javascript/Java, C/C++, HTML/CSS, Bash/Shell

10. Experience leading and collaborating on XFN projects to build products, respond to urgent needs, preempt issues and address concerns in collaborative and timely fashion

11. Experience building products related to diverse communities and niche topics

12. Experience working independently and autonomously

13. Previous experience collaborating with product and technical teams

14. Proven knowledge of industry trends and news

15. Proven editing skills

Public Compensation:

$129,000/year to $187,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
