Summary
MADE by DWC is a Downtown Women's Center (DWC) social enterprise. Our mission is to end homelessness for women and gender diverse individuals through employment in a supportive learning environment. We are seeking a Contract Sales Representative to generate wholesale account leads and achieve monthly sales goals. Service includes account management, business development, all things necessary serve clients, and monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reporting. To be successful in this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of the sales process and dynamics, and superb interpersonal skills. This position creates opportunities that support women transitioning out of homelessness through employment and personal sustainability. This position reports directly to the Division Manager, Products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Account management and business development.
- Generate Leads.
- Meet or exceed sales goals.
- Support the negotiation of all contracts with prospective clients.
- Contribute key insights necessary for price quotes, promotions, and negotiations.
- Prepare scheduled and ad hoc reports.
- Develop sales presentations to prospective and existing clients.
- Coordinate sales efforts with marketing programs.
- Coordinate with DWC accounts receivable to oversee client payment.
- Run aging reports from Shopify and collect past due payments.
- Utilize inventory management software ensure alignment of product supply and demand
- Prepare and submit sales contracts and orders.
- Visit prospects and clients to stay current on needs and trends, promote products, and services.
- Maintain client records.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This is a remote position with occasional visits to the office and production space. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a consultant position with a need for flexibility to work hours relevant to our customers' business hours and to meet the sales goals set by the organization.
Travel
Local travel will be required.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, economics, or related field is a plus.
- 2+ years' experience in sales.
- Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- Any vocational certifications related to sales and customer service are a plus.
- A commitment to excellent customer service.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with customers.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including word, excel, and outlook.
