Role Overview:We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Commercial Construction Superintendent with a strong background in tenant improvement (TI) projects. The ideal candidate will oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities for tenant improvement projects.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Enforce adherence to safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
- Review and interpret construction documents, including blueprints, specifications, and schedules.
- Monitor project progress, resolve any issues promptly, and ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain effective communication with clients and address concerns or updates as needed.
- Conduct regular site meetings to align team members and stakeholders.
- Manage resources efficiently, including labor, materials, and equipment.
- Prepare and submit daily/weekly reports on project status.
- Proven experience as a Commercial Construction Superintendent with a focus on tenant improvement projects.
- Extensive knowledge of commercial construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software and construction scheduling tools.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in construction management or a related field is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
