About the Company:

The Company is a Fort Lauderdale-based, growing contractor, primarily for the federal government, who works in construction and emergency response. The Company recently won a $22M Army contract to build a 21,500 sqft Security Forces Training Facility at Dobbins Air Reserve Base. The project involves constructing a facility with training, administrative, and storage space, including reinforced concrete, masonry or concrete walls, energy-efficient roofing, utilities, and site improvements.

About the Position:

The Company is seeking a Construction Superintendent to join its team and oversee its work at Dobbins Air Reserve Base in Marietta, GA.

The ideal candidate has at least 5+ years of commercial construction experience including new build projects with budgets greater than $10M. Previous experience on Federal/Government funded construction projects interfacing directly with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers or similar government authority is a plus...but not required.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
• Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
• Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Previous experience in construction management on Federal projects
• Familiarity with construction management software
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• OSHA 30
