They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Superintendent to join their team and oversee the construction of high-end hospitality projects. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of day-to-day operations on the job site, ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all phases of the construction process for hospitality projects, from pre-construction to completion.
- Manage and direct the day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets.
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, laborers, and vendors to ensure efficient and safe operations.
- Maintain a focus on quality control, ensuring all work meets or exceeds the project’s specifications and quality standards.
- Enforce safety regulations and ensure the work site adheres to all OSHA and other regulatory requirements.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to ensure expectations are met.
- Conduct regular site inspections and meetings to track progress and resolve issues promptly.
- Ensure that all necessary materials, tools, and equipment are available and delivered on time.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff and team members, fostering a positive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, with a focus on hospitality & restaurant projects preferred.
- Proven track record in managing high-end, large-scale construction projects.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and building codes.
- The ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications.
- Experience with project management software and scheduling tools.
- OSHA certification and other relevant safety certifications are a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to excellence in every project.
