Expert in building Healthcare? Large projects available with this GCMy client has been a key player in the South Florida market for more than 20 years! They're seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee the construction of healthcare projects valued at $40 million. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare construction, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management:
Oversee all phases of healthcare construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. - Team Leadership:
Lead and manage on-site construction teams, including subcontractors and laborers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. - Safety Compliance:
Ensure all construction activities comply with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety on the job site. - Quality Control:
Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure all work meets project specifications and industry standards. - Client Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or issues that arise. - Problem Solving:
Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines. - Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily reports, schedules, and change orders.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on healthcare projects. - Education:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred, not essential. - Certifications:
Relevant certifications such as OSHA, PMP, or LEED are a plus. - Skills:
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in construction management software and tools. - Knowledge:
In-depth knowledge of healthcare construction standards, regulations, and best practices.
