Construction Project Manager - ServiceMaster by Tekton

SerivceMaster by Tekton , an industry leader in disaster restoration, is looking for a Repair Department Project Manager to oversee projects for commercial and residential reconstruction as a result of insurance losses.

As a project manager at ServiceMaster by Tekton, you will have the responsibility for the overall completion of repairs to property, including, but not limited to:

• Project development and planning
• Coordinate project team, team meetings, subcontractors, and trades
• Participate in design development providing the necessary liaison, when required, between pre-construction department and the owner
• Support and implement the company’s project quality planning and control process
• Initiate and maintain liaison with the homeowner and contacts to facilitate successful project execution like:
  • Client-initiated meetings
  • Ceremonial events
  • Maintaining contact to ensure satisfaction with ongoing project for marketing purposes
• Manage financial aspects of contracts to protect client and company interests: review and approve budgets, cost reports, owner’s reports, fee payment, rental equipment, income, expenses, etc
• Perform final review of internal items such as job cost reviews, monthly billing to owner, master cost breakdown, labor cost report, and monthly reports
• Evaluate construction progress and team performance to ensure projects are built on schedule and within budget
• Identify all potential legal problems and litigation’s for their projects and review them with the branch manager
• Oversee completion of project close-out
• Provide technical assistance to all members of the project team
• Identify new work opportunities and inform Sales and Marketing of potential projects with current clients
• Actively leads internal team(s) that focuses on continuous improvement of the business
• Promote the growth and development of client, subcontractor, and vendor relationships
• Familiar with all policies and processes as it relates to this position
• Proactively identify and solve problems to minimize risk
