Newly created Construction Project Manager position at an established NYC Construction Management/General Contractor with a growing portfolio of ground-up multi-family, mixed-use, and hospitality projects.Working closely with the Executive Team, this business-critical position will be an integral part of the leadership as a client's representative overseeing projects from conception through completion.Construction Project ManagerNew York, NYAdminister and coordinate activities for the construction of complex projects Create and monitor schedules for planning, design and construction, taking appropriate actions to ensure that projects are completed on schedule according to cost limitationsInterface with clients, construction managers, subcontractors, architects, and engineers; providing status updates and conducting walk-throughsGenerate standard procedures and make recommendations on company policiesReview change orders, interpret contract documents and shop drawing submittals/approvalsAdvise senior management on appropriate action regarding contractors claims or disputed work Perform buyouts of the Construction Trades.Create and manage scopes of work, bid proposals, and budgetsBachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture5+ years of experience in the construction fieldMinimum 5 years' experience managing projects through all phases of constructionProficiency in MS Office, Project, Blue Beam and Procore​The above salary range represents Cobalt's good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible base compensation range at the time of posting and is one part of the total rewards package this client provides to employees.Cob1Discipline(s): ConstructionJob type: Full Time
