This role handles complex projects involving technical and logistical challenges across multiple disciplines.

Job Details
Reporting to the Facilities Design and Construction Program Manager, the Project Manager - Facilities oversees the project management of corporate facility renovations and new constructions. This role handles complex projects involving technical and logistical challenges across multiple disciplines.
Essential Functions:
- Manage renovation and new construction projects for corporate facilities, navigating complex technical and logistical issues.
- Oversee projects from inception through design, construction, and final occupancy stages.
- Coordinate activities of external consultants, including architects, engineers, and contractors.
- Initiate and assess alternatives and opportunities for cost savings.
- Develop and ensure adherence to project schedules, budgets, and vendor contracts.
- Maintain a customer-focused approach, ensuring high levels of satisfaction through effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Interface with various business units such as Supply Chain, Environmental, IT/Telecom, Real Estate, and Finance.
- Develop and issue RFPs for professional services, general contracting, and design/build services.
- Conduct building code studies and ADA compliance reviews for existing facilities.
- Assist in establishing and refining departmental processes and procedures for project management.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of direct experience managing planning, design, and construction of multi-discipline commercial building projects involving diverse stakeholders.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Process-oriented with a collaborative work style.
- Previous architectural/design experience preferred; registration not required.
- PMP certification is advantageous.
