Job Summary:
The Construction Project Manager at IPT oversees all aspects of our construction projects. This role involves managing contractors, workers, and resources to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet IPT’s high standards of quality and safety. The Construction Project Manager is also responsible for regular communication with stakeholders, monitoring project progress, and resolving any issues that may arise. Travel to job sites may be required to ensure smooth operations.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage multiple construction projects from start to finish.
- Oversee contractors and workers, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Ensure all work is completed according to approved manuals, procedures, and contract scope.
- Provide regular updates on project status to business and market leaders.
- Attend client meetings and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
- Travel to job sites as necessary to monitor progress.
- Handle scheduling updates, submittals, and invoicing.
- Address issues promptly to keep projects on track.
What You’ll Need:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Construction Project Manager, preferably with experience in the petroleum industry.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive), and Microsoft Project.
- Ability to multitask and solve problems efficiently under pressure.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- NYC Construction Superintendent License (preferred but not required).
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional certification in Office Management is a plus).
