About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team. As a Construction Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the successful execution of construction projects from start to finish. Your strong communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as your exceptional grasp of construction blueprints, attention to detail and organizational skills, will be essential in coordinating various aspects of the construction process.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to identify key project requirements.
- Assist in the development of project schedules.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with suppliers, vendors, subcontractors, team members and clients.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential risks.
- Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation and progress reports.
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction activities and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Report, Manage and resolve issues that arise during the construction process.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field OR 4-5 years of relevant experience in construction project coordination.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively convey complex information.
- Excellent organizational with a keen attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of construction processes, terminology, and practices.
- Proficient in using Excel, Outlook, Procore, scheduling software and other relevant tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to achieve a positive outcome.

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the millwork industry. Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software, with minimum 1-3 years of experience. Ability to read and interpret architectural and shop drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Strong spatial visualization skills and ability to work in both 2D and 3D. Proficiency in Excel, PDF manipulation, and other relevant software. Valid Texas Driver License. Please Note: This is not an entry-level position. Candidates with 1-3 years of AutoCAD experience and/or 1-3 years of experience as a millwork drafter will be considered. However, a certificate in drafting will be required for entry-level positions. The schedule for this position is 50+ hours per week, and you must be able to meet tight deadlines. Only candidates who meet the minimum requirements will be considered.
