We are seeking an experienced CONSTRUCTION PLUMBING INSPECTOR for a full-time position located in our Dallas, Texas office.

We are seeking an experienced CONSTRUCTION PLUMBING INSPECTOR for a full-time position located in our Dallas, Texas office.
Essential Functions
- Diagnoses, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain facility plumbing systems and associated components.
- Perform preventative/predictive maintenance on required systems.
- Inspect, monitor, repair, maintain, and operate building mechanical and plumbing systems.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled and scheduled maintenance repairs of systems.
- Clear clogs in drains when necessary.
- Drive and operate different equipment such as golf carts, company vehicles, etc.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Comply with company safety program and trainings.
- Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
- Ability to work productively and cohesively in a diverse and multicultural environment.
- Measures, cuts, and threads iron pipe for natural gas pipelines or water/wastewater lines.
- Removes clogs from wastewater systems using manual and/or small power tools.
- Makes minor mechanical repairs to small water or fuel pumps; maintains, repairs, and fixes irrigation lines and related issues.
- Perform any and all other work as needed or assigned.
- Knowledge of Uniform Plumbing Code and safety guidelines.
- Knowledge of welding procedures and guidelines.
- Knowledge of plumbing hand tools and ability to use them.
- Ability to cut and thread iron pipe with appropriate machines.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
- Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Current Texas Journeyman (or higher) Plumber's license.
- Experience working in an airport environment highly preferred.
- Valid driver's license with good driving record.
- 5+ years of related experience in general plumbing.
- Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to be badged to work in secure areas of an airport.
- Ability to work Day or Night shifts including weekends and holidays.
- The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving machinery & mechanical parts, uneven ground, exposure to dust, gas or fumes, exposure to loud noise, and outside weather conditions.
- The physical requirements must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Intermittent unassisted sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, stooping, crawling, pushing and lifting is required. Must be able to walk and/or stand for prolonged periods of time for at least eight hours per day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move light equipment up to 50 pounds without assistance. Must be alert to equipment in the field, occasional need to work near hazardous equipment and machinery, ability to walk on uneven ground while physically maneuvering construction sites, ability to work in extreme temperatures or humidity, and potentially work at heights.
- Possession of a valid state of residence driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Daily travel to and from construction sites, generally within 100 miles from the home office is expected. Short term, out of town, assignments may be required. Long term, out of town, assignments may be required, with advance notice of planned dates.
- May be required to work protracted and irregular hours to meet client's needs, including nights, overtime and weekends.
