Position Overview
The Construction Project Manager will oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to specified quality standards. This role requires effective management of project teams, resources, and client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage construction projects from planning through execution
- Develop project plans and schedules, ensuring alignment with client objectives
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met
- Manage project budgets, including forecasting and tracking expenses
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Communicate project status to stakeholders, addressing any issues that arise
- Ensure all necessary permits and inspections are completed in a timely manner
- Implement safety protocols in compliance with OSHA standards
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management
- Proven experience with commercial, mixed-use, retail, industrial, and public works projects
- Strong understanding of civil and vertical construction techniques
- Familiarity with project management software and tools
- OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certification preferred
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
