Main Responsibilities as a Construction Litigation Associate Attorney
- Represent clients in construction-related litigation, including contract disputes, defect claims, and lien enforcement.
- Manage cases through all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
- Draft and negotiate construction contracts, subcontracts, and related agreements.
- Provide counsel to clients on risk management, compliance, and regulatory matters related to construction law.
- Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda.
- Collaborate with clients, experts, and other legal team members to develop effective case strategies.
Core Experience, Skills, and Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in construction litigation or a related practice area.Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Massachusetts Bar; additional bar admissions are a plus.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with construction industry practices and terminology is highly desirable.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
