Construction Estimator - Hiring Urgently! - Gpac

We are partnered with a prestigious, well-established local construction company to help grow their business. They are currently in urgent need of an experienced Estimator. The right candidate can come from either a residential or commercial background, minimum 5 years experience. Salary depends on experience. This company is family-oriented & supportive, with a great culture. Relocators are welcome to apply, relocation assitance provided if needed.

Primary duties:

• Prepare and perform accurate estimates - both labor & materials 
• Understand company pricing policies and maintain profit margins
• Determine standard vs. nonstandard pricing and adjust estimates accordingly
• Review blueprints and plans and interpre them for all trades
• Other duties as directed

Qualfications: 

• Minimum 5 years experience in residential or commercial construction (required)
• Excellent communication & soft skills
• Ability to calculate mathematical formulas
• Ability to read & understand blueprints, drawings, and plans
• Proficient with computers and estimating software - Bluebeam or Timberline preferred, all other estimating software considered
• Creative problem solving skills
