Responsibilities
- Collecting pertinent documents, including property plans, technical drawings, and project specifications

- Obtaining multiple quotes and selecting the most suitable offers
- Negotiating with service providers for better pricing
- Outlining work plans to determine project timelines
- Performing risk assessments for potential deviations from the project plan
- Calculating an overarching price considering resource costs and profit margins
- Drafting proposals detailing expected materials, costs, and timeframes
- Meeting with clients to discuss concerns and feedback regarding offers
Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant experience in construction estimating
- Strong background in project management preferred
- Proven experience in estimating commercial projects
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with change order pricing and negotiation
Education Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred
