Construction Estimator - Pikemann

Job Opportunity: Estimator – Heavy & Marine Construction

Location: Branford, CT (On-site)

We are seeking an experienced Estimator with 8-10 years of heavy and marine construction experience. This role will focus primarily on estimating, but as part of a small team, you’ll also support various project-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Estimate project costs from plans, including heavy construction (pile driving, concrete, DOT, utilities) and marine work (docks, sheet piling, breakwaters).
• Prepare prequalification submittals, project schedules, and other bidding documents.
• Research and identify new projects for bid.
• Work closely with the team to learn our estimating processes and become self-sufficient.

Qualifications:

• 8-10 years in heavy/marine construction with at least 3 years in a superintendent, project manager, or similar role
• 5+ years of full-time estimating experience.
• Civil engineering background preferred.
• Strong computer and estimating software skills.
• Must be willing to work in Branford, CT (no remote work).
