As an Assistant Project Manager, you will work closely with project leadership to help deliver high-quality construction projects on time and within budget. This role is ideal for someone in the early stages of their career, eager to learn, grow, and contribute to a collaborative team focused on delivering the most recognized and impactful projects in the city.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Project Managers in planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects across various sectors.
- Support the management of project schedules, budgets, and timelines.
- Assist in coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure timely and quality project delivery.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and solving potential issues before they arise.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and assist with maintaining a safe and organized job site.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including change orders, daily reports, and other records.
- Work alongside senior team members in the mentorship and training process to develop your skills and experience in project management.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- 1+ years of experience in the construction industry (internships or co-op experience acceptable).
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- A passion for learning and developing a career in construction management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend).
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and industry best practices is a plus.
