Summary (Scope of the Job)
Cotton Holdings is actively looking for an Assistant Project Manager for one of its subsidiaries, Target Solutions. The Assistant Project Manager responsibilities will include providing assist in direction and coordination of a project. This includes most aspects of the project to include performance, administration, documentation, safety, and customer contact.
Key Responsibilities
Major Responsibilities
- Communicate with operations daily on a project to ensure projects are running smoothly.
- Keep customers and Project Managers (PM) informed and up to date on all project activities to promote good customer service.
- Adhere to all company protocol, project and safety policies, accounting procedures, etc.
- Responsible for ensuring that the service quality is at the company’s highest standard.
- Assist with project budget to ensure profitability
- Pull permits, initiate, and follow through to ensure all necessary paperwork is in the project file
- Assist in developing a Site Safety Plan to communicate and be followed by Field Supervisors and labor force. Participate in safety investigations to minimize risk.
- Assist in obtaining appropriate job documents; Work Authorizations, Change Orders, Certificate of Satisfaction
- Conduct and document safety toolbox meetings.
- Provide feedback (positive or negative) to Operation and Project Managers regarding individual jobs as needed.
- Maintain the highest of integrity to ensure the company is viewed in the most positive manner.
- Understanding of workflow procedures and systems.
- Sourcing and hiring of subcontractors and vendors to meet project requirements.
- Provide onsite crew direction on daily activities and documentation.
- Meeting client and adjuster needs on site.
- Conflict Resolution between Target Solutions and client
- Maintain professional communication with client, adjuster, subcontractors, onsite labor force.
- Maintain a professional manner at all times to include but not limited to; Appearance, Hygiene, and Speech
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Background Requirements:
Education:
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience
Experience:
- Commercial reconstruction project knowledge - REQUIRED.
- Familiar with Xactimate.
- Familiar with Restoration Process.
- IICRC Certified – not required but preferred.
- OSHA 10 or 30 Certification – not required but preferred.
- Ability to interpret and understand engineering drawings - not required but preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of workflow procedures and systems
- Knowledge of the insurance industry a plus
- Computer proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Proven organizational, problem-solving, critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks based on client needs.
- Proven ability to build relationships.
- Ability to travel extensively as business needs arise - REQUIRED
- Good driving record:
- Minimum of twenty-one (21) years of age and have a minimum of three (3) years verifiable driving experience.
- No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.
- No repeat seat belt violations.
- No high-speed moving violations in the past 3 years.
