The Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Florida invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in the area of comprehensive ophthalmology to expand our academic practice. There is immediate opportunity to engage in a busy tertiary clinical practice in an established longstanding department with a brand new, state of the art clinic and surgery center. Salary, rank and tenure status will be commensurate with credentials and experience. The College of Medicine has a competitive faculty compensation plan, which includes incentives and bonuses. Employer will assist with relocation costs.

Requirements include completion of an approved residency program. Board certification or eligibility, and eligibility for licensure to practice medicine in Florida are prerequisites.

Qualifications, in addition to clinical expertise, include a strong commitment to teaching, resident training, and research as well as participation in academic activities. Incumbent will provide medical and surgical services to patients within UF Health facilities and affiliated locations.
