About the Job
Gpac is working with a client company in the Sioux City, Iowa area who’s seeking a highly motivated and experienced Compliance Manager to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the company’s operations follow all regulatory requirements, internal policies, and the industry’s best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage compliance programs to ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular compliance audits, assessments, and internal reviews to identify potential risks.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on compliance-related issues, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, ensuring the company stays compliant with any changes.
- Coordinate with legal, finance, and operational departments to address compliance concerns and implement solutions.
- Prepare and submit compliance reports to senior management, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Investigate and resolve compliance violations, escalating issues as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in food or beverage manufacturing compliance preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in a compliance role within the food and beverage industry.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and industry standards.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- HACCP, ISO, FDA experience
