About the Job
This position will specialize in all aspects of compliance and the administrative functions within the QA/QC/HACCP, Purchasing, Licensing & Accounting Departments that pertain to legal and policy compliance within the company. In addition, perform external audits to Baldor’s suppliers as needed
This position requires excellent command of the English language and good communication skills both oral and written. This position will communicate our strict compliance standards to all our current and potential vendors and ensure that all deadlines are met and compliant paperwork is complete and intact.
Essential Job Requirements:
- Must be computer literate with knowledge of Excel, Word & Outlook.
- Must be able to lift at least 20 lbs.
- Must have the ability to use the keyboard and telephone pad.
- Must be able to Stand/bend/reach/kneel/sit.
- Must able to work in a cold environment.
- Must be able to travel
- Must have the ability to communicate clearly in English.
- Must be organized.
* Position Duties and Responsibilities: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00 pm - Extra days & hours as required
a) Adherence & enforcement of all QA/QC/HACCP compliance standards set forth by Baldor
b) Position will be responsible to supervise the Compliance Administrator and Assistant Compliance Administrator
c) Supervise all QA/QC/HACCP compliance functions throughout the Baldor NY, Boston, DC and any facilities
d) Adherence & enforcement of all accounting compliance standards set forth by Baldor NY, Boston, DC any facilities
e) Adherence & enforcement of all purchasing compliance standards set forth by Baldor NY, Boston, DC any facilities
f) Perform meetings with purchasing dept. related to the suppliers who are not in compliance with Baldor’s supplier approval program
g) Place on purchase hold any vendors for which the compliance information is not current.
h) Monitor food safety & quality complaints from QA/HACCP and Receiving dept. so suppliers can be identified and notified about their performance.
i) Monitor recalls made by Baldor’s suppliers so at the end of the year a report needs to be created to keep purchasing dept. on the loop related to the performance of the suppliers.
j) Perform external audits to the new suppliers and suppliers with poor performance of food safety and quality of the products.
k) Oversee the supplier control program in safefood 360 to improve the process of approving suppliers in the system.
l) Monitor & supervise all regulatory supplier approval program FSMA to keep informed Baldor’s purchasing dept.
m) Monitor & supervise all regulatory licenses and permits for all Baldor entities and ensure compliance at all times.
n) Oversee the process of all compliance paperwork
o) Continual verification and validation of all compliance paper work to ensure that all vendors remain in compliance.
p) Continued education in the compliance field to be up to date on new regulations and enhance the compliance program
q) Assist in other areas of HACCP as needed
r) Assist in Special Projects as needed.
Qualifications:
Education: High School or equivalent, PCQI and HACCP certification will be a plus.
Experience: 5 years in the Compliance field or similar field
