About the Job
This job posting is for an over-the-road (OTR) truck driving position with a flexible schedule, competitive pay, and modern equipment. Here's a summary of the key points:
Schedule:
- On the Road: 12 days out, followed by 2 full days off (48 hours) every other weekend.
- Routes: Primarily east of I-35, but you may be dispatched across all 48 states depending on freight needs.
- Mileage: Expect to drive around 2,000-2,200 miles per week, depending on Hours of Service (HOS) and available loads.
Freight & Operations:
- Freight: All no-touch freight for convenience.
- Drop & Hook: 50-60% of loads are drop-and-hook; 40-50% require live unloading.
- City Restrictions: No forced dispatch into New York City or its boroughs.
Equipment & Support:
- Trucks: Late-model (2021+) Freightliner Cascadias or Kenworths.
- Support: 24/7 operations specialist assistance is available.
Pay & Benefits:
- Base Pay: Based on experience:
- 3-5 months: $0.57 per mile
- 6-11 months: $0.58 per mile
- 12-23 months: $0.60 per mile
- 2-9 years: $0.62 per mile
- 10+ years: $0.64 per mile
- Additional Pay:
- Detention Pay: $12.50/hour after the second hour of waiting.
- Layover/Breakdown Pay: $100 per day.
- Sign-On Bonus: $500 after your first load, and another $500 after 30 days.
- Mileage Bonus: Earn an additional 3 cents per mile based on safety, mileage, and productivity (eligibility begins the first of the month following hire).

- No Forced Dispatch into NYC: You'll be able to avoid driving into the city and its boroughs.

- Must be at least 10 years old (under 18 requires legal custody).
- Only 1 rider allowed at a time.
- Riders cannot possess a valid CDL.
- Pet Policy:
- Only 1 dog or 1 cat allowed per truck (must not exceed 80 lbs).
- Aggressive dog breeds are prohibited.
