Our client, is a private, nonprofit organization is looking for an Community Based Therapist
Type: Contract to Hire
Schedule: M-F 8:30-5pm, will only pick up a later shift if absolutely necessary or if wanted, might be on call sometimes
Location: Cherry Hill, NJ
Description:
The potential employee must have the ability to assess and interpret information related to the population; possess knowledge of the symptoms of the disability and/or disorder and the ability to recognize exacerbation of symptoms; general understanding of treatment needs and clinical interventions; knowledge of available treatment resources and appropriate use; population specific communication skills.
Under the supervision of the Team Leader, the Master's Level Clinician is responsible for, but not limited to:
• Work collaboratively with the participating providers
• Provide crisis intervention
• Responsible for maintaining a consumer clinical record (electronically) that accurately reflects all services provided on a timely basis and meets Agency and funding source standards
• To monitor and oversee service linkage in the mental health and non-mental health, health system; coordinating and integrating services from multiple providers
• To monitor and oversee the provision of community-based services for consumers enrolled in the PACT program
• To provide clinical insight and treatment working with the PACT team
Talent Requirements:
* Master's Degree in s behavioral health science or counseling specialty from an accredited institution
* Two years of post bachelor's experience working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness.
* Previous community experience is preferred
* LSW or LAC preferred
* Active drivers license
Talent Characteristics wanted:
* Mental health experience, case management and therapy experience
* Someone who is comfortable with physical activity
* Someone who can role with the punches and does not take things personally
