Communications Specialist Overview:
We are seeking a Communications Specialist to support our Bayer Marana Innovation Center. This role requires a skilled communicator who can create engaging content for both internal and external audiences. You will be responsible for developing and sharing information through various channels, with a focus on supporting business needs and fostering a strong internal communication environment.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver who can anticipate needs and readily adjust to changing demands. This role requires flexibility to support a variety of business needs, including both communication and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
Communications:
- Develop and execute communication strategies for various audiences.
- Handle media inquiries and create marketing materials.
- Manage community engagement and stakeholder relations.
- Prepare employees for internal and external events and communication requests.
- Create internal communication materials (newsletters, presentations, flyers).
Event and Tour Coordination:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive tour program for the Marana Innovation Center. This includes designing engaging tour routes, creating informative materials, and establishing processes for scheduling and managing visits.
Oversee all aspects of site tours, including:
- Coordinating with stakeholders to understand their needs and interests.
- Managing logistics such as scheduling, transportation, and site accessibility.
- Providing expert on-site coordination to ensure a smooth and informative experience.
- Ensure the safety and security of all visitors by enforcing site safety policies and providing clear instructions and guidelines.
Creative Support:
- Create graphics and other visual materials for internal and external use.
- Produce, film, and edit videos.
Business Support:
- Provide administrative support as needed.
- Track stakeholder interactions.
- Assist with coordinating meetings and events.
