We are looking for a qualified Commercial Lines Account Manager with a minimum of 3-5 years of insurance agency experience working as an Account Manager. A valid Property & Casualty insurance license is required. Company is a growing, fast-paced full service insurance agency. We have established ourselves in the community and built strong partnerships with some of the nation’s top insurance carriers. Our ideal candidate will have knowledge of the Applied Agency Management System (Epic) and be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Carrier rating experience is a plus.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Licensed Property & Casualty individual to provide excellent customer service while managing an existing book of Commercial business.
- Provide support to producers and clients to pre-qualify, quote and place Commercial insurance.
- Build and maintain highly effective relationships with and between carriers, producers and other staff.
- Continually review clients’ coverage, suggesting improvements and rounding out the account when possible.
- Support producers in the marketing of both new and renewal accounts.
- Adhere to agency workflows and procedures for all tasks.
Qualifications
- P&C license with thorough understanding of basic insurance concepts and principles.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of agency experience.
- Excellent grammar and communication skills.
- Ability to work quickly, accurately and independently.
- Able to effectively set priorities and manage one’s time.
- Highly organized and detail oriented, allowing one to thrive in a fast-paced environment with varied responsibilities.
- Strong computer skills
