About the Job
As a Commercial Lines Manager, you will be a key player in driving the success of our agency. You will oversee a select portfolio of high-value Commercial Lines clients, lead departmental improvements, and support the Director of Commercial Lines in managing day-to-day operations. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the growth and efficiency of the department, while fostering an exceptional client experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of high-end Commercial Lines clients, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
- Develop and streamline workflows to improve efficiency and departmental performance.
- Work closely with the Director of Commercial Lines to oversee operations and achieve agency objectives.
- Identify growth opportunities, including cross-selling and expanding coverage options.
- Analyze monthly reports to track departmental goals and progress.
- Cultivate strong relationships with insurance carriers and other key stakeholders.
- Promote a positive and productive work environment within the department.
- Provide ongoing training to optimize the use of agency management systems and carrier websites.
- Contribute to annual staff evaluations, as well as the hiring and training of new team members.
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in Commercial Lines insurance.
- Active Property & Casualty license.
- Proficiency in Applied Epic (strongly preferred).
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to customer service.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
