Commercial Lines Account Manager - GPAC

As a Commercial Lines Manager, you will be a key player in driving the success of our agency. You will oversee a select portfolio of high-value Commercial Lines clients, lead departmental improvements, and support the Director of Commercial Lines in managing day-to-day operations. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the growth and efficiency of the department, while fostering an exceptional client experience. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of high-end Commercial Lines clients, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
• Develop and streamline workflows to improve efficiency and departmental performance.
• Work closely with the Director of Commercial Lines to oversee operations and achieve agency objectives.
• Identify growth opportunities, including cross-selling and expanding coverage options.
• Analyze monthly reports to track departmental goals and progress.
• Cultivate strong relationships with insurance carriers and other key stakeholders.
• Promote a positive and productive work environment within the department.
• Provide ongoing training to optimize the use of agency management systems and carrier websites.
• Contribute to annual staff evaluations, as well as the hiring and training of new team members.
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in Commercial Lines insurance.
• Active MA Property & Casualty license.
• Proficiency in Applied Epic (strongly preferred).
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to customer service.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
