Flintrock Commercial is currently in search of a Commercial Construction Superintendent to join our expanding team in Austin, TX 78758.

Summary of Position:
A Flintrock Commercial Superintendent will handle the daily field activities and play a key part in client and subcontractor relationships.
Chain of Command:
Superintendents report to the Operations Manager and/or General Superintendent and work closely with the Project Manager. Assistant Superintendents report to the Superintendent.

Essential Duties:
Superintendents have the following duties:
- Create construction schedules, perform regular updates, monitor logic relationships, and insert new activities and impacts.
- Coordinate jobsite logistics and maintain relationships with neighboring occupants.
- Negotiate with Authorities Having Jurisdiction to achieve project occupancy milestones.
- Review drawings at budget time to assist estimating.
- Review submittals and shop drawings.
- Creating and maintaining a good relationship with owners, architects, and engineers.
- Scheduling subcontractors to begin work to keep on schedule.
- Daily Reports, including weekly man power reports.
- Review Monthly Cost Updates with PM.
- Get all materials, tools, storage trailers, etc. for the jobsite three weeks ahead of schedule.
- Provide office with accurate information for OSHA 300 log.
- OSHA certified and knowledge of construction site safety, including the safe operating practices for construction equipment.
- Maintain a clean project environment.
Required Skills & Experience
- Range of experience varying from minimum of 1+ years to 10+ years of experience in commercial construction.
- Proficient computer skills - Procore/PlanGrid, MS Office, MS Project, Excel.
- Excellent listening skills and strong communication skills.
