- Project Planning and Scheduling:
- Develop and manage comprehensive project timelines, schedules, and milestones.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to fully understand project scope and specifications.
- Identify resource requirements and efficiently allocate personnel and materials to meet project demands.
- Budgeting and Cost Control:
- Create and oversee project budgets, monitor expenses, and report on budget variances.
- Prepare and review detailed cost estimates, change orders, and project invoices.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors to ensure quality services and cost efficiency.
- Project Execution and Quality Control:
- Oversee the execution of construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
- Track project progress and performance against key metrics, including timeline, cost, and quality.
- Uphold quality control standards, proactively addressing and resolving issues to ensure project success.
- Risk Management and Safety Compliance:
- Identify and evaluate potential project risks, implementing effective mitigation strategies.
- Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to enforce safety protocols and promptly address hazards.
- Team Leadership and Communication:
- Lead and coordinate with project team members, including site supervisors, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Organize and facilitate regular team meetings to communicate project updates and status reports.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing concerns, managing expectations, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of proven experience in commercial construction project management.
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore) and scheduling tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, P6).
- Must have experience with large scale tile wall, conventional steel, and pre-engineered metal building construction.
- In-depth knowledge of commercial construction methods, materials, and industry best practices.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings accurately.
- PMP, CM-Lean, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
- The role requires working in both office and construction site environments.
- Travel to project sites may be necessary.
