Position Title: Collections Specialist

Location: On-Site in Plano or Sherman, TX

Duration: This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity; however, the original contract is expected to last 3 to 6 months only.

Job Description:

• Manufacturing industry, based in Plano, Texas.
• As a Collections Specialist, you will be responsible for the management of outstanding Accounts Receivable balances and the execution of various collection processes.
• Your responsibilities will also involve conducting root cause analysis, reconciliation work, and managing other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• 3-6 months prior experience required
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Knowledge and experience in Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Solid understanding and ability to perform Billing Functions
• Familiarity with Collection Processes
• Experience in Commercial Collections
• Skills in Account Reconciliation
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• High level of integrity and dependability.
