Job Description:
Bayside Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated and licensed therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience providing therapy to individuals with substance use disorders and mental health concerns in an outpatient setting, as well as a strong commitment to delivering high-quality, client-centered care.
This is a full-time role that will require availability during normal business hours and occasional availability during evenings as needed.
Responsibilities:
· Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health, substance use, and treatment needs.
· Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, client goals, and evidence-based treatment modalities.
· Provide evidence-based therapy services, including individual, group, and family therapy, using modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and trauma-informed care.
· Facilitate psychoeducational groups and workshops on topics related to substance abuse, mental health, relapse prevention, and coping skills.
· Collaborate with other members of the treatment team, including psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and case managers, to coordinate care and ensure integrated treatment planning.
· Conduct crisis intervention and risk assessments as needed, providing appropriate referrals and resources for clients in crisis or experiencing acute symptoms.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries, in compliance with state regulations and agency policies.
· Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and clinical supervision sessions, contributing to case discussions, treatment planning, and program development initiatives.
· Stay informed about current trends, research, and best practices in the field of substance abuse and mental health treatment, participating in continuing education and professional development activities as required.
Qualifications:
· Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or equivalent licensure in the state of Indiana is preferred.
· Credentialed in Addiction Counseling is preferred.
· Minimum of 1 year of experience providing therapy to individuals with substance use disorders in an outpatient setting.
· Strong knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities for substance use disorders, mental health disorders, and trauma-informed care.
· Excellent clinical skills, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and intervention techniques, with a focus on client-centered and strengths-based approaches.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport, build therapeutic alliances, and engage clients from diverse backgrounds.
· Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and documentation practices, ensuring compliance with regulatory and agency standards.
· Experience in working with higher levels of care (IOP, PHP).
Working Conditions:
- This position primarily operates in a clinical office environment.
- Occasional travel may be required to attend meetings, trainings, or conferences.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a fast-paced, client-centered setting.
Physical Demands:
The employee is occasionally required to stand and be on their feet for long portions of time. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds.
Travel:
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
