Perform duties to document and validate various activities, documentation and events as they relate to the patient/pharmacy/prescriber/manufacturer requirements, working within the limits of standard or accepted practice. - High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of experience in pharmacy environment
- Demonstrated experience in auditing documentation and ensuring compliance
- Knowledge of and skilled usage of pharmacy systems or similar software tools
- Proven ability to model high level customer service resulting in improved customer satisfaction and enduring business relationships with patients, prescribers and pharmacy associates
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat programs
- Highly motivated, results-driven, independent individual with advanced data entry skills with minimal errors
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent oral, presentation, written communication and analytical skills- Participate in cross-training to perform any of the tasks described herein as assigned
- Support additional therapy programs as they arise, which may require additional documentation and tasks
- Perform inbound and outbound calls, review and document accurate notes taken relating to the calls and ensure correctness of entries made into patient file
- Audit patient accounts as required by manufacturers or payors; review entries for accuracy, correctness and specific criteria
- Demonstrate proficiency in the identification of adverse events required by the manufacturers and notify the clinician ensuring all documentation requirements are met (required in certain jurisdictions)
- Demonstrate proficiency/knowledge of the Discharge Work Instruction to ensure all attempts have been made to service the patient prior to discharge; attempts include, but are not limited to contacting the patient and the prescriber
- Follow up with patients, prescribers, internal associates and others to provide or obtain information needed (required in certain jurisdictions)
- Participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, and policies
- Perform or assist with any operations, as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules and quality requirements
- Travel to attend therapy specific events to support the business needs (required in certain jurisdictions)
- Perform other related duties as assigned
