Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate hybrid Licensed Psychologist with expertise in autism spectrum disorder (ASD) assessments to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in administering, scoring, and interpreting various autism assessment tools and providing detailed diagnostic reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive autism assessments using standardized tools (e.g., ADOS-2, ADI-R, etc.).
- Administer, score, and interpret psychological tests.
- Provide detailed and accurate diagnostic reports.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including speech therapists, occupational therapists, and other mental health professionals.
- Offer feedback sessions with families to discuss assessment results and recommendations.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to case discussions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments and patient interactions.
- Stay updated with the latest research and developments in the field of autism spectrum disorders.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Psychology from an accredited program.
- State licensure as a Psychologist from the Board Certified Psychologists.
- Specialized training and experience in autism assessment.
- Proficiency with standardized assessment tools for ASD.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual in Spanish.
- Experience working with diverse populations.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting focused on ASD.
Schedule and Work Environment:
This hybrid position will require 3 days working from the office and allow 2 days to work from home. The hybrid Psychologist must have a suitable home office setup that ensures client confidentiality and a professional environment for telehealth services.
