Job Title: Clinical Director - Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program
Location: Vineland, New Jersey
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5:30 am to 2:00 pm, with rotating Saturdays 5:30 am to 12:00 pm
Job Description:
As a Clinical Director for our Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the implementation and oversight of clinical programming. Your responsibilities will encompass supervising all licensed and unlicensed clinical staff, fostering a culture of clinical excellence, and making informed decisions that uphold the highest standards of patient care.

Requirements:
Master’s degree from an accredited college or university
Must have NJ LCADC and CCS (Certified Clinical Supervisor). Would entertain LPCC and LCSW candidates also with supervisor experience/certification.
Current and unrestricted professional clinical license in the state of employment
Three (3) years of progressive clinical counseling experience in a behavioral health setting
In-depth understanding of co-occurring mental health disorders and their appropriate treatment/intervention
Demonstrated knowledge of effective management and supervisory practices
Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
Ability to plan, direct, and monitor the activities of others with demonstrated leadership abilities
Current CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) Certification
Must possess a current valid driver’s license in good standing and be insurable by the designated carrier
Preferred:
Five (5) years of progressive clinical counseling experience in a behavioral health setting
Responsibilities:
Lead the hiring, training, and retention efforts for new clinical staff
Provide supervision and guidance to Counselors, setting performance standards, and conducting regular performance reviews
Foster a positive and cohesive work environment through trust and respect among teammates
Collaborate with other departments and agencies to improve client/patient care and staff development
Ensure all clinical services are delivered ethically and efficiently within regulatory guidelines
Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions as needed
Conduct quality assurance activities to ensure documentation meets company and regulatory standards
Uphold confidentiality requirements of all client/patient information in compliance with HIPAA and state/federal laws
Investigate and resolve concerns or complaints regarding teammates
Attend and actively participate in meetings and required training opportunities
